Background

Newtownabbey Community Voice is an umbrella organisation which aims to link and offer support to community and voluntary groups across the Newtownabbey Borough.

Project Aims

Newtownabbey Community Voice has six priority aims:

1. Develop capacity building through support, mentoring and training.

2. Increase community participation by encouraging community activity and development.

3. provide information and improve communication.

4. Develop a resource facility.

5. Provide networking opportunities to address issues of concern.

6. Develop consultation initiatives enabling the community to influence and access decision makers.
